The Lausitz Festival 2024 has come to an end with great success. With around 60 events at 19 special locations in Lusatia, we experienced an unforgettable season. Particularly pleasing was the significantly above-average increase in visitor numbers, which shows how much the festival has gained in appeal. We would like to thank everyone for this - the visitors, friends of the festival, artists, cooperation partners, supporters and everyone who made this success possible.

We are looking forward to next year with great anticipation: the 6th edition of the Lausitz Festival starts on 25 August 2025. Due to its great success, the play »Othello / The Strangers« with Götz Schubert as Iago and Leonard Burkhardt as Othello will once again be part of the programme, with performances from 28 to 31 August 2025 at the Telux site in Weißwasser. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 20 September 2024.
