DISCOVER THE FESTIVAL PROGRAMME

The Lausitz Festival is entering its sixth season from 24 August to 14 September 2025 with 31 events in its main programme. The performances are spread across 20 productions, which can be experienced in equal parts in southern Brandenburg and eastern Saxony. Half of these will be created exclusively for the festival: theatre, music theatre, concerts, art, staged readings, literature and a series of philosophical talks.

This year, our festival programme is accompanied by the inspirational word unsbewusst. It carries on the idea of the anderselbst, which ran through last year's programme like a watermark.

From the I in the other and the other in me, this year's programme is about the we – the people.
