The Supervisory Board includes appointed representatives of the Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media (1x), the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg (1x), the State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism of the State of Saxony (1x) and the municipalities of Cottbus/Chóśebuz and Görlitz (2x each). Brigitte Faber-Schmidt, Head of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg, was elected Chairwoman.

The Artistic Advisory Board acts as an advisory body with recommendations for decisions – specifically, regional integration and sector representation is to be realised via the Advisory Board. It is made up of representatives from various cultural institutions in Lusatia, covering all the main cultural sectors in Lusatia, including music, museums, theatre, park associations, tourism and socioculture. The members of the advisory board are appointed by mutual agreement between the relevant ministries of the Free State of Saxony and the State of Brandenburg. The Advisory Board is intended to ensure that the key artistic interests of the various sectors of the arts and culture are adequately taken into account in the company's decision-making processes. The Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Supervisory Board regarding the concept of the Lausitz Festival and the annual programme guidelines.
