The Bautzen Memorial is located in Bautzen II, the infamous former prison. Visitors can view the cellblocks, exercise areas, and two prisoner transport vehicles. Permanent exhibitions document the detention practices at the prison and the historical background of its use by the Nazis, the Soviets, and the Stasi.
