Erich Kästner’s poignant cycle of poems, “The 13 Months” (1955), and Peter Tchaikovsky’s collection of 12 character pieces, “The Seasons” (Op. 37a, 1876), are brought together in this “Osmodrama” composed by Wolfgang Georgsdorf. Osmodrama is a time-based art form using scents. The work will be performed in the Görlitz Stadthalle’s Osmodrom, a 30-meter-long tent made of white parachute silk where the audience can experience the piano music and poetry readings as a live performance with synchronized olfactory effects.
