A carriage becomes a stage.

We board the culture train on 5 July and travel from Berlin to Wrocław. On our way through Germany and Poland, we will be travelling through the region where the festival is taking place - Lusatia. The travelling audience can expect a programme that will feature artists from both neighbouring countries. A small foretaste of the Lusatia Festival 2024.

Berlin-Lichtenberg - 14:00: Spoken word artist Johannes Berger opens the journey.

Berlin Ostkreuz - from 14:48: Actresses Lea Beie and Agata Kazmierska read in German and Polish from the novel »Empusion« by Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk. Duo LeDazzo from Cottbus plays jazz, pop and chanson.

»Empusion« will be premiered as a dramatisation at the Lausitz Festival in Forst in September.

Cottbus main station - from 16:14: We continue with the reading.

Weißwasser (Oberlausitz) - from 16:46: Dancer Roshanak Morrawatian gives an insight into the music-dance-theatre piece »Stille Post«, which can be seen on two festival evenings in Cottbus.
