It’s bad enough that Oli’s identity has been stolen on the Internet. But shortly thereafter it’s not only his online life that falls apart, his life in the real world is also stolen. Who is responsible for this? Who would say and do such terrible things? And who can Oli trust to see Oli as himself when the world thinks he is a monster? Did his »real« self ever exist? In the first German performance of this dark thriller, nothing is as it seems and no one is who they really are, because Oli’s story may be being told from a completely different perspective that completely transforms the real figure. It’s also quite possible that even the play and the author are completely different because the author who invented the author in the play lost themself while doing research on the play… At any rate, you will be treated to an entertaining, dramatic, and bewildering British thriller with dialogues like those in a well-made Netflix series in this production by Cottbus house director Philipp Rosendahl, who really loves well-made plays! Really!
