Following his highly successful concert last year, Polish pianist Piotr Anderszewski returns to the Lausitz Festival with a unique musical event. Not only will he take his listeners on a musical journey with preludes and fugues from the second volume of Bach’s ‘Well Tempered Clavier’, he will join them for an international walking tour: the first part of the program will take place in Görlitz, then Anderszewski and the audience will walk across the bridge to the Polish city of Zgorzelec (transportation will also be available), where he will perform the second half of the program. A truly European experience.
The first part of the evening will take place in the Cultural Forum Görlitz Synagogue, then together with the audience we will cross the bridge to the St. Boniface Church in Zgorzelec (on foot approx. 30 minutes or in provided vehicles), where the second part will sound – a transitional experience for the senses.
