The internationally celebrated RIAS Chamber Choir is one of the world’s leading professional choirs. For the past five years, Justin Doyle has been the group’s Musical Director. This multinational ensemble, known for its clear and transparent sound, will present a program of Baroque music in colourful and historically informed interpretations. George Frederick Handel was born in Halle, but went on to become one of the great figures of the English Baroque. At the same time, Francesco Durante in Naples and Arcangelo Corelli in Rome were creating their own Baroque masterpieces. Listeners will be treated to a dazzling display of vocal artistry.
